How to install iOS 13 Golden Master, the final version of iOS 13

iOS 13

Once again we return to the beta dance, and unfortunately you will find contradictory information regarding iOS 13 GM and how to install it. We explain how you can update to iOS 13 GM if you are already in the beta of iOS 13, or install it from scratch. This is the only way in which you will be able to install the Golden Master of iOS 13 since it is impossible to update it via OTA or by installing any type of beta profile due to the news that Apple has released in iOS 13.1 Beta 3, so we explain in an easy way how you can do it.

The first thing to explain is that the "Golden Master" or GM to which we refer in this tutorial is the one that is understood to be the latest test version of the operating system. In general, except for a terrible mistake, this version is completely identical to the one that Apple will later release officially and publicly for all users, so you will not receive any more updates in beta phase nor will you have to install. The second problem occurs with iOS 13.1, and it is that Those who have the beta profile installed cannot install iOS 13 GM due to the update to the latest beta of iOS 13.1.

Therefore, you have no choice but to download from THIS LINK the IPSW of iOS 13GM for your specific iOS device. So, making sure that you have downloaded Xcode Beta for macOS and you have iTunes updated, you must follow the following steps:

  • To install iOS 13 GM cleanly
    • Connect iPhone to iTunes
    • Press ALT and click on "Restore iPhone"
    • Select the IPSW that you have downloaded from iOS 13.0 GM
    • Installation will begin
  • To update the iOS 13 beta to the Golden Master version
    • Connect iPhone to iTunes
    • Press ALT and click on «Check for update ...»
    • Select the IPSW that you have downloaded from iOS 13.0 GM
    • Installation will begin

    Hola!

I am trying to update my iPhone to IOS 13 GM, but Itunes shows me the "update to the latest version of Itunes" message. The problem is that I already have the most recent version of Itunes (12.9.6), so I don't know why it won't let me restore my device to IOS 13 GM. Any ideas?

I use Windows 10 (updated), ITUNES 12.9.6, and I have an iPhone SE with IOS 12.1 (I stayed on this version, I never updated to 12.4)

As specified in the tutorial, it is for macOS: «So, making sure that you have downloaded Xcode Beta for macOS and you have iTunes updated, you must follow these steps:».

      Not possible with Windows 10.

This is the only way, through restoration: https://www.actualidadgadget.com/como-instalar-ios-13-beta-en-iphone-y-ipad-desde-windows-y-mac/
