It is neither the first nor will it be the last time that we can install emulators on our devices, whether they are iPad or iPhone, without the need for a Jailbreak. For all those nostalgic who have always liked the games they grew up with, here is a small tutorial to install an SNES emulator to remember those wonderful years (pun intended).
SNES emulator on iOS 8
- First of all, in order to install the SNES emulator on our iPad, we must change the date set on our device. To do so, we go to Settings> General> Date and Time and set May 26 as the date for our device. If we do not change the date before trying to install the emulator, iOS 8 will show us a message informing that it is not possible to proceed with the installation.
- Now, we go to the Safari browser and we write iemulators.com
- We head up the Apps tab, where all the emulators that we can install on our device without the need for Jailbreak will be displayed.
- Now we have to search for the SiOS emulator. When clicking on it, a window will open, App Store style, where a small description is shown and the option to install it, located right at the end of the window. Click on Install and the installation will begin.
- Once installed, click on the application and the following message “Unreliable developer. Do you trust the apps from the developer: "iPhone Distribution: ADA TEch, LLC" to use on your iPad? " Click on Trust and the application will open.
- Now to be able to add ROMS to the emulator that we just installed, we must run iTunes, we go to Applications> Shared files.
It is impossible to download the app because when the date changes, the safari stops working and does not allow to install, well that is the problem I have if someone knows the solution please….
