All the photographs we take with our iPhone (and, of course, with other cameras) They obtain some data that remains hidden, it is the metadata, but we can see it and even modify and delete it.
These metadata have different sections depending on the device that made the image and on an iPhone they usually refer to the camera itself and its settings, the size of the file and the photograph, the location where the photograph was taken, as well as the specific date and time.
This data is part of the image, which allows, among other things, to order them correctly by date, by place, etc., but they are also shared when we share an image and it may be something we do not want to do.
To consult, modify or delete this information there are numerous applications available in the App Store. Free, paid, with in-app purchases, etc. and I have tried a few to be able to offer you the one that I have found most useful.
If you want to search and test more applications, just search for Exif (Exchangeable image file format) or Metadata (Metadata) in the App Store and numerous options will appear.
In my case, because it is free, powerful (since it allows you to edit and delete all the data) and with a minimally invasive advertising that we can remove for only € 0,99 per year if it bothers us a lot, I have chosen Exif Metadata. Which, in its Pro version, eliminates advertising and allows us to edit multiple images at the same time.
The interface is simple. When we open a huge + icon will appear to select an image from our iPhone reel. It will inform us of the name, date and time, file size, characteristics of the image, the camera and the parameters with which it was made, the location with the GPS coordinates, address and map and much more. of data.
Underneath all we can edit ("Edit Exif") or delete ("Remove Exif") the metadata from image.
