How to organize Apple Watch apps

On any mobile device to which applications can be installed, something that we will surely do is sort the apps in a way that makes it easier and faster for us to access them on a certain moment. Of course, the Apple Watch also has that possibility, as in an iPhone, but, unlike the smartphone from Cupertino, in the Carousel (iOS SpringBoard equivalent home screen) we can order the applications forming the image we want.

As in many other actions of the Cupertino watch, reorder the Apple Watch applications can be done in two different ways: one directly from the watch and another from the iPhone, in case the reduced space is a handicap for us.

How to organize apps on Apple Watch

  1. We press the Digital Crown to return to the Carousel (home screen) if we are not there yet.
  2. We press and hold on any app icon.
  3. We hold and we drag the icon where we want to move it.
  4. We let go of the finger when the app is right where we want it.

But if the Apple Watch screen is small or we cover it and we can not leave the applications with precision, also we have the option of ordering the applications from the iPhone. In this case, I think this second option is better than ordering the applications from the smartwatch.

How to organize Apple Watch apps from iPhone

  1. We open the application of Apple Watch on the iPhone.
  2. We played on My watch on the bottom.
  3. We played on order of applications.
  4. We drag and reorder the applications as we want. When we finish, the changes will be made automatically on our Apple Watch.

As I said before, in Watch OS we can order the applications as we wish, they will not auto-order in rows like on an iPhone. This will allow us to create any shape we imagine, giving our Apple Watch a more personal touch.
