Since iMovie has become free buying any device with iOS 7, it is very likely that you are curious to use it. Usually when I am in a hurry I usually edit the videos on my iPhone, but honestly, it is not recommended. If you are going to get one of the new iPad Air or iPad Mini Retina (when it goes on sale) I advise you to try it, it is very easy and intuitive. Also on a larger screen, it is much easier to create our home videos.
The iPad, as much as they have improved the camera in the latest versions, not the best iDevice for recording videos. It is best to use the iPhone 5s or 5c / 5 (they record in higher resolution than previous devices).
Unfortunately there is no simple import option to export movies directly from iPhone to the iMovie application on our iPad. It is not a very complicated task either. With iOS 7 Apple has made it easy to share files between Apple devices.
We can carry out the import in two relatively simple ways:
- The traditional way. Once you have downloaded the videos to your MAC or PC from the iPhone, you only have to synchronize them through iTunes so that they are loaded on the iPad.
- Using AirDrop. Thanks to iOS 7, with AirDrop we can wirelessly transfer video clips between iPhone and iPad with a couple of taps. For short videos, there is no problem. But if you are going to transfer very long files, the best and fastest thing would be to proceed in the traditional way.
Once you have transferred the movies from iPhone to iPad, we can now create our own home movies.
This step is basic to be able to import video clips recorded on our iPhone and to be able to process them in the iMovie application of our iPad. It would be good if in future versions they created a direct import method within the application, but for now we have to settle for the steps that I have indicated.
In the next few days, we will prepare a full review of iMovie for iPad. Stay tuned!!

Terrible item. What is iCloud for?….
To transfer videos of course not. iCloud uploads the photos you take on your devices, but this is not the case with videos.
How easy it is to criticize ...
If you enter your device in the
iCloud section, you will see the Photos option, not photos and videos. Inside specify
«My photos in streaming» upload new photos and send them automatically… ..
it does not talk about videos. If you have an iPhone you should know that the videos
Engravings, even if they are short, take up a lot of space which makes it unfeasible
send them to the cloud.
If you want to transfer a video from iCloud to iMovie, how is it done?
