How to put our iPad in Safe Mode and fix Cydia errors

Cydia

In the last few days I have installed several tweaks that were not compatible with my iPad and the aforementioned, when doing the respring of Cydia it began to go crazy. For example, it would not start and the apple would keep coming out again and again or even, it would start iOS and when I was going to type my unlock code, it would restart. In these cases in which we install a harmful or incompatible tweak, the iPad can react in many ways and to solve it what we have to do is delete the installed tweak by putting the device in Safe Mode. Do you want to know how?

How to delete a Cydia tweak with iPad in Safe Mode?

Well, first of all we have to be clear about the situation in which we find ourselves. That is, we must not get nervous at the moment when we see our iPad as a possessed restart every two by three, no. It is clear that something we have done to make the device look like this and that is why we have to review all the things that we have done or have installed on the iPad, in this case.

If we are sure that it is a tweak that we have installed, the solution is its elimination from the coffers of our iDevice and for this we have to enter Safe Mode since our iPad does not start in Normal Mode. For it:

  • We turn off the iPad completely
  • We press the power button
  • When the apple comes out of Apple, we will press the volume up button until the iPad boots completely

Once turned on, iOS will tell us that we are in Safe Mode and therefore many folders that we have made or the tweaks that we had installed do not work (that does not mean that they stop working when the iPad returns to Normal Mode).

As the iPad is in Safe Mode we can enter Cydia and delete that tweak that was causing us problems without any objection. eye! When we delete a tweak it asks us to do a respring. When we re-enter iOS after respring we will have to turn off and turn on our device normally to return to Normal Mode.
