Memoji, Animoji and Emoji in general are cool, why are we going to deny it ... However, with iOS 13 came the absolute integration of Memoji with the iOS keyboard in the Emoji section, which has caused discomfort in certain users because they do not use it regularly or that they are represented in strange ways depending on which applications. It has taken many versions for Apple to allow us to deactivate this "new capacity" that integrated us without eating or drinking it. If you are fed up with the Memoji stickers on the iPhone and iPad keyboard, we are going to show you how to remove them easily.
The first thing is to remind you that to be able to deactivate this functionality you need to be running at least version 13.3 of iOS, the first one that enables the switch to get rid of the Memoji on the keyboard. If you are running a previous version of iOS you will not be able to follow this tutorial or remove them, so I recommend that you first go to Settings> General> Software Update to carry out the corresponding update. If you have indeed already installed this latest version, don't worry and we will go there with the steps you must follow to get rid of this functionality.
It is much easier than you can imagine:
- Open the iOS Settings app
- Navigate to the General section and enter
- Once inside, click on "Keyboard" to access its configuration
- Disable the "Memoji Stickers" functionality using the switch.
As we have said, only with iOS 13.3 or iPadOS 13.3 you will be able to deactivate this feature, since in previous versions it is not shown in switch. Among other things, new features have also appeared in the "Time of Use" application, stay tuned for our tutorials to continue getting the most out of your iPhone and iPad.
