How to see the link of a link in Safari

how-to-see-a-link-in-safari

When we are browsing the internet looking for any information, during our tour we find many links that refer us to different websites, within the same page where we are or to other pages related to search terms. In most cases, the links refer us to where the text on which the link has been created indicates, but on other occasions, and depending on the type of pages we visit, it may actually be an advertising link, that is In other words, they are bait links for us to click on. These links, in addition to making us very angry, make us waste our time, especially if when we click on them, windows and more advertising windows begin to open, crashing our browser. Fortunately the browser Safari offers us the option of adding a status bar at the bottom of the browser to make sure before clicking if the link corresponds to the information we are looking for. In other browsers this option is activated by default, but in Apple's browser we have to search a bit until we find it.

To activate it we have to go to Display and select Show status bar. In this way, every time we hover over a link, the link will be displayed at the bottom of the browser. Fortunately andn Safari for iOS, we can also get this information but in a slightly more complicated and less fast way.

For this we have to press and hold your finger on the link in question until a menu appears in which the destination URL will be displayed and in which Safari offers us several options such as Open, Open in a new tab, Add to reading list or Copy. In this way we can previously check a URL before clicking on it.
