ICloud users have always regretted not having an application on the iPhone to be able to access all the documents that we have stored in the Apple cloud. While it is true that the operation has nothing to do with other storage services, where we can copy any type of file, the good thing about iCloud (so to speak) is that It groups the files created by the different applications that we have installed into foldersIn this way, if we want to find all the documents scanned with an application, we just have to go to that folder.
The great advantage that iCloud offers us is that we can access all documents and files from any device that we have them stored and edit them quickly so that the changes are converted once we close the application, without having to re-upload the modified files or documents, as in other cloud storage services.
Show or hide iCloud Drive on our iPhone
With the arrival of iOS 9, Apple offers us the possibility, if we use this service, to show a shortcut to our files directly from the springboard of our iPhone. By default, this icon is hidden, but below we show you how it can be activated.
- We will head up to Settings and click on the option iCloud.
- Within iCloud click on the first available option called iCloud Drive.
- Next, we first find the iCloud Drive option that allows us to save documents and data in iCloud. This tab must be enabled to use iCloud. Second we find Show on home screen. If we want to have a direct access on our home screen we must have this box activated.
Why enable it?
If we have become accustomed to using iCloud and thanks to the price reduction that Apple presented us a few months ago, we only use this cloud service on a daily basis, activate this icon will allow us to quickly access documents that we have stored and modify them in a few seconds without having to upload them again once we have edited it, as I have commented previously.
