Now that we have been with the new beta versions of iOS, macOS and the rest of Apple's OS, we can say that they are quite stable, they work more well than we can expect for being a first beta version and most of the users who are testing them are quite satisfied as a whole.
Obviously there are always some applications or tools that may stop working, work erroneously or similar, so it is interesting to know how you can uninstall the beta version of iOS from your iPhone or iPadOS from the iPad.
Uninstall the beta by deleting the profile
We currently have several options to remove the beta version of our iPhone, so we are going to show you both. First of all we will see the option to remove the beta of iOS 13 directly from our device, either the iPhone or the iPad, the steps are the same:
- We open Settings of the iPhone and click on General
- We go down and at the bottom of the screen click on Profiles
- Directly click on Delete profile
You will have to wait for Apple to release an update to be installed on your device, meanwhile you will continue in the Beta of iOs 14 that you have installed.
Go back to iOS 13 using your Mac
If you want to get back to iOS 13 more quickly without having to wait for Apple to release a new update, you can do it through your Mac, connecting your iPhone using the USB to Lightning cable (make sure you use a certified one).
- Our Mac has to be on the most current version of macOS
- We connect the iPhone to the Mac and activate the recovery mode -Recovery mode- to start the process
- Once this mode is activated, click on the Restore option when it appears and you will see how the deletion of the device begins and the current non-beta version of iOS is installed, the latest official version available at this time.
Once the process is finished, it would be. It may ask us for your Apple ID and password to deactivate Activation Lock. When the restore is done, you can configure your device from the archived backup, which must be from an older version of iOS.
A very simple process.
I deleted it and my phone restarted but it did not go back to iOS 13
Of course it does not go back to IOS 13, this article is nonsense.
I recommend that you reinstall the profile so that you can move forward and not stay in beta 1 developer until September.
You have to wait for Apple to release a new version of iOS 13 so that it appears and you can install it. If you want it to be immediate, you must follow the second method of the article.
