HTC-style widgets are a timeless classic. Reviewing the new tweaks that have appeared in Cydia these days I have found two new widgets of this type, and that despite the new style of iOS 7 they are perfect on the springboard of our device, so I did not want to miss the opportunity to publish an article about them. It is also two widgets that can be configured very easily, without editing codes, thanks to the configuration menu that they incorporate, and that only need iWidgets to be installed.
HTC Animated Weather Forecast Clock iWidget
Behind this very long name we find a fabulous and also free widget. HTC's characteristic clock, with the current weather, and the 5-day prediction, to which we must also add an animation of the weather that varies according to current conditions. It is configurable, being able to deactivate the animation or the five-day prediction, and show the temperature in degrees Celsius. To configure the city you must enter the code in the style "SPXX", which you can get on the page Weather.com. Find your city on that page and copy the code that appears at the end (for Granada, for example, SPXX0040).
iWidgetAnimatedHTCFlipclocks
Another widget with a long name, this time of payment ($ 0,99) and that in return offers us 4 in one. Two widgets without weather information, one in white and one in black, and two widgets with the current weather, also in black and white. Like the previous ones, they are configurable, but with more options. Possibility to choose the language and to use the GPS location are the main differences with the previous one. If you want to use a fixed location, deactivate the GPS and enter the code of your city, but this time it is different. You must use the code of Yahoo, also at the end of the internet address when entering your city in your search engine.
Remember that it must also be installed iWidgets. To place the widgets, once installed, click on a blank space on the springboard and hold down for a moment. A menu will be displayed in which you must select the widget, and the configuration screen will then appear. To move or remove the widget you must do as to remove an application.
More information - iWidgets brings the widgets to your springboard (Cydia)

Very good contribution. Thank you.
if it were not for this kind of thing with Cydia ... iOS would be more boring than the mating of two dragonflies ....
Long live Cydia .... Fuck Apple so many restrictions!
Hello good!! Well, I have tried with the Zip Code and with the WeatherCode of my city, and the truth is that it does not work for me, it remains "blank", I just get only the time. If someone could help me, my city is Alfaro (Spain); Thanks in advance. 🙂

Hello, it's very good, but I can't find the spxx country code, I'm from Mexico City, I hope you can help me get it, thank you.

Hello, just one question, is it possible to put it on the home screen, because it covers all the icons.
To make siege, you have to download the IBLANK from cydia that creates blank icons so that the others do not cover them ok
And thanks to you too Mat.
Hello jlsoler; as Mat tells you, you have iBlank to create transparent icons. I like Gridlock better, which what it does is to put the icons of the apps where you want, leaving the spaces you need.
Either one is a good option.
Regarding the tweak, they are very good, but for iOS 7, in my opinion it is a bit out of step with the aesthetics of this operating system. Isn't there some flipclock or something in the style of iOS 7?
Greetings to all.
Jorge.
Thank you very much Jorge.
You can get the city codes from here:
http://edg3.co.uk/snippets/weather-location-codes/spain/
And in the Widget you have to put: SPXX0111 for Mérida (Extremadura)
But there are some that do not exist, for example I have searched for Alfaro and it does not appear.
Another solution is to go to http://espanol.weather.com and there look for your city, once you have located it, look at the end of the address that appears in the browser and you will see the code, for example Alfaro is: SPLO0056
http://edg3.co.uk/snippets/weather-location-codes/ THERE ARE THE CODES
Why do I get "HTTP / 1.1 404 Not Found" for each of the two files?
Where do you have to put the city code ???
