iAppLock

There are many options available in Cydia for protect your applications with password. It is not only useful so that no one can access your emails without authorization, or your WhatsApp conversations, but so that the little ones can play with your iPhone without worrying about whether they will call someone or delete the contacts from your agenda. Many of these applications are full of options to configure, and that is where this application we are talking about today has its greatest virtue: iAppLock, which it's really simple to configure and it perfectly fulfills its mission, which is none other than to protect the applications that you specify with a password. Plus, it's free, so there are no excuses not to try it.

iAppLock-1

The application creates a new icon on your springboard from which we can configure it. To add applications, press the "+" in the center of the screen and select all those applications that you want to protect. Once you have selected the ones you want (a maximum of 5 at the moment) click on the «Save» button and then you will have to enter the password. The application only allows 4-digit passwords, without offering the possibility of being alphanumeric.

iAppLock-2

The application offers the possibility of add a recovery email, so that, in the event that you misspell the password three times, they will send you an email to retrieve it. From the application itself you can access a Settings menu with various customization options. Perhaps the one that may be more interesting is the "Delay Lock" option, which allows that once an application is unlocked, during the time you have set it does not ask you for the password again.

iAppLock prepares a paid version, whose characteristics we do not know yet, but which may include the ability to block more applications along with other configuration options. We will inform you of its launch
