iBand: A New Concept About Apple's "Fitness" Watch

iBand

We are at the end of February and the network begins to fill with concepts about the supposed next devices of Apple, more especially those that less is known about them: the iWatch and the iTV. In recent days we have published some of the most important concepts of the iWatch such as, the concept in which they place the Apple smartwatch with sensors on the back and an iPhone-like touch screen (smaller, but I think it won't be like that). Today, we are going to present you a new concept of the supposed smart watch of the Big Apple that would change its name: iBand. In this concept they think that Apple is working in a "fitness" band with many sensors that will make our life a total control through our iDevices. Do you want to know more about seta iBand, which represents another concept of Apple's iWatch?

A «fitness» watch that would control our life through Healthbook: iBand

The medium responsible for the concept of this "iBand" is T3, also known for other device concepts. We are going to analyze all the characteristics that T3 shows us about Apple's future device, which they have called: iBand.

  • Heart rate monitor: Much has been said about the number of sensors that the iWatch would carry and one of the main ones will be the heart rate meter. So we can see in the iBand, which takes our keystrokes (and saves them) and shows us on its small screen.
  • GPSTracking: I have not heard much about this feature but with this concept I have seen it clearer. Who would not like to know the number of kilometers they have traveled with their bicycle or running? In addition, with the GPS system, a map could be made with the route taken. Thanks iBand!
  • Sleep control: Thanks to other built-in sensors, we could monitor our sleep and set a goal for the number of hours we need to sleep. The "fitness" bracelet would rest (charging, for example) while we did a complete control of our sleep.
  • Health Book: We have already talked about this application that would be a kind of central where the Apple smart watch would "dump" all its data and we could get statistics and other information.
  • Lightning charger: As we can see in the video of the iBand, the bracelet would unfold on one side giving rise to a small "Lightning" slot where we could charge the device.
  • Touch ID: Who can we leave our smart bracelet to? The iBand's "Home" button would have the Touch ID sensor to allow only us to use the device.
  • Crab: T3 also thinks that your iBand should have the Siri personal assistant that would perform various health-related tasks, of course.

If you want to know all the information on this concept, you can do so through the presentation video at the top or by viewing the images that we have captured in the following image gallery.
