Iconical: change the icons of your iOS device without Jailbreak

Being able to change the look of iOS has been one of the reasons why many people Jailbreak. The profound aesthetic change that iOS 7 has given to Apple's mobile operating system has left many more than satisfied, with a much more modern and clean interface, far from the skeumorphism of previous versions. But others are simply horrified by the new icons Jony Ive has put on their iPhones and iPads. When there is a jailbreak available for iOS 7, there will be no problem to personalize our devices again, but until then what to do? Iconical, an app launching tomorrow on the App Store It will give us an alternative to be able to change the icons of our applications.

The application takes advantage of the "custom URLs" to allow create desktop shortcuts that launch the corresponding application, and these shortcuts allow us to add the icons that we like the most, whether they are images downloaded from the internet or images that we create ourselves through the editor that it will have incorporated. Through this procedure we can customize the applications we want to change one by one, getting a springboard more to our liking.

As you can see, the procedure is not too complicated, although it will take us a while depending on how many applications we have installed and we want to change. There is also a slight downside, and that is that not all applications will be compatible with these "custom URLs", but developers do ensure that more than 200 applications will be supported with Iconical. How do you know which ones will be compatible? Iconical will do it for you the first time you run the application, as it will scan all the ones you have installed on your device to tell you which ones you can customize.

The application will not be available until tomorrow, August 6. As soon as we have it in our hands, do not doubt that you will have a complete review and a tutoriall how to use it. Hopefully it's worth it because it promises a lot.

I'm pretty sure it will last for hours and they will remove it. Another problem I have with how it will work is: if it is a custom url it will not first open safari and then the app, if so it would be awful.
