iFile is now compatible with iOS 8 and iPhone 6 (Cydia)

iFile

Now that the jailbreak for iOS 8 is now available thanks to Pangu, the iFile file manager It has been adapted to the new version of Apple's mobile operating system and also supports the screen resolutions of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

As usual, iFile can be downloaded for free via Cydia. Once we have it installed on our iPhone or iPad, iFile will provide us with an authentic file manager, being able to access the different folders on the computer, view the permissions and properties of each file, decompress files, install .deb files manually with more ease, etc.

You already know that Apple is very restrictive in this regard and has never allowed to have a true file manager on iPhone or iPad. There are applications in the App Store that pose as fake file managers creating their own internal structure, however, their possibilities are still very limited by the rules that Apple establishes.

iCloud Drive It also promises to be another rogue file manager with automatic syncing capabilities between computers. This Apple service is designed mainly for documents, images and specific applications, but even so, we can save all kinds of files. Still, iCloud Drive has its limitations and does not allow us to move as we please through the entire folder structure of iOS 8.

If you have purchased iFile in the past, the new update will be free. If you are a new user and you find it attractive to have a real file manager on your iPhone or iPad, you can download it for free in Cydia and enjoy a trial period after which, you will have to pay 3,99 dollars.

It works fine for me, the only problem is that I don't see the application path as I saw it before. Does anyone know where they are?

You go to home and open containers / data / application, they still have to do so that it really looks like the IOS7 version, since in settings even in spite of selecting to see the name of the applications it does not see the long name of numbers and letters that do not help to quickly identify the app that we want to identify.

You could indicate which is the latest version, since the one that comes out in the BigBoss repo tells me that it is not compatible with iOS 8.1
