iFixit already has in its hands the new Apple Watch Series 5

A higher battery and changes in the screen of the new models of the Apple Watch Series 5, added to the new materials used for the device case (titanium and ceramic) are the main changes of these new Apple watches compared to the previous version, the Series 4.

We already saw these changes in the media a few days ago and now iFixit with its particular breakdown confirms them. The new Chip S5, would be the main novelty in terms of hardware in addition to some changes in the screen so that the screen works always on, slightly more battery and a CPU and GPU the same as in the previous model.

The final score of this Apple Watch Series 5 offered by the iFixit team is 6 out of 10

Which means that Some components of the new Apple Watch can be repaired quite well. Glues abound in new electronic devices and in this case we also have the seal for water resistance that can be damaged when opening the watch. Other details of this breakdown can be found in the iFixit's own website.

The battery according to iFixit account is a 1,4% larger on 44mm model compared to Series 4  and has 10% more capacity on the 4mm Series 40 model. Some users have verified it in their own watches that this older is not holding the pull in terms of autonomy.
