Surely many of you know the drawings of South Park or have ever seen those Flash animations in which a famous character begins to sing a song moving his mouth as if it were a doll. This effect can be achieved on the iPhone through the iFunFace application or one of its variants.
The operation of the application is very simple and is basically summarized in four steps. The first one is select the photo we want to animateTo do this, we can choose between making one with the iPhone camera, selecting one that we have already memorized, or importing a photo from our Facebook account.
In the second step we have to select the head of the animal or person we want to animate. The quality of the final result depends to a large extent on this process, so it is advisable to take the time that is necessary to properly shape the head. For this, iFunFace provides us with the necessary tools to be able to select the area with precision, being able to erase if we make a mistake. We can also apply photographic filters after clicking on a Facebook Like in order to promote the app.
The third step consists of positioning the area of the mouth, having three reference points that we must place properly. If we want to see the result, we can always use the preview tool. At this point we can also add accessories to our character's head, some being paid and others free.
Finally, iFunFace offers us the possibility of add another character to the scene or go directly to recording a message. If we like the result achieved, we can share it through Facebook, YouTube, save it in the iPhone's memory or send it by email.
iFunFace has some paid plugins that add extra features. For example, the "reverse heads" kit allows us to move the faces from one character to another, save them for later use or to be able to adjust their position, size and color in the resulting video.

Very good application, fun and simple to use to a certain extent because it has quite serious shortcomings when wanting to correct the order of things or want to edit something that did not look good the first time, which forces you to have to do multiple attempts as any errors cannot be edited.
