A few years ago the IM It was what was carried, since social networks were beginning and had not reached the popularity that they have now even remotely. Although it is true that currently this type of communication has lost strength, the truth is that it is still being used (I do at least), and it is always good to have a good client on the iPhone. Let's see if IM + Pro meets our expectations.
Very complete
If there is something that stands out at first glance about IM + Pro, it is that it allows us to use a impressive amount of services: Windows Live / MSN, Facebook Chat, Yahoo !, Google Talk, Skype, AOL, Gadu-Gadu, MeinVZ, ICQ, Twitter, Jabber and many more protocols that are fully supported and integrated into the application.
Obviously there are some services that we will never use, such as the Chinese, but the truth is that it is appreciated that it has a stand so big to different protocols and above all having the possibility of solving everything with a single application at a time, avoiding switching between apps if we use several services at the same time.
Unified interface
I have been using this app for a long time and luckily it has evolved a lot in the interface section, currently opting for one successful combination Discreet black and white color scheme with some shades of traditional iOS colors in parts where Apple elements are used.
The chat interface too it's pretty good and much improved with respect to other versions. Now it is much simpler and offers us the icons just to the right of the chat box, so it will take practically no time to choose them in full conversation, being a much faster method than the one used in other applications.
The app brings other extras such as geolocation, the possibility of chatting with nearby users without having to have an account in any service or the chat groups, that other apps do not support them and that we can access without problems in IM + Pro.
To look for something negative, it must be mentioned that the battery literally melts, although it is something that can be experienced with practically any app that is constantly exchanging data with network. It is partially solved by leaving it in the background, but it would not be a bad thing if they found a global solution for this massive battery consumption.
I usually use Trillian for these cases, I also tried the free version of this application and it seemed good, in your opinion it is better than Trillian and what are the pros of the paid version?
