INTRODUCTION :
The long-awaited game for the iPad developed by Epic Games and that makes use of the Unreal Engine 3. Infinity Blade brings an RPG game to Apple's tablet combined with the most impressive graphics that have been seen so far on a mobile device.
START OF THE GAME:
The game begins with a short introduction that tells the story that will surround Infinity Blade throughout its entire journey. During this time, just enjoy the impressive graphics and read well since it is subtitled and it is the only way to find out what the plot is going on.
Next we will have to carry out a couple of combats as a tutorial since they will teach us the techniques to carry out attacks and dodge them when necessary.
FIGHTS:
Each fight begins by challenging our opponent, for this we will have to click on a blue circle that is drawn on him. From that moment, the battle will begin and we will have to show all our skill when launching and dodging attacks.
As we weaken the opponent, the perspective from which the fight takes place will change.
When the fight is over and we are victorious, a summary of the experience points we have earned will appear on the screen.
Finally, note that before and after each fight we can look around us to be able to look for valuables or potions that increase our standard of living.
ENEMIES:
As we progress through the game, the opponents become much more resistant, bigger and, above all, much faster, so avoiding their attacks becomes quite a difficult task.
OUR CHARACTER AND IMPROVEMENT STORE:
At all times we will have access to the characteristics of our character to be able to visualize their abilities: healing, attack, shield and magic.
On that same screen we will also have access to:
- Inventory: in this menu we will be able to visualize all the objects that are in our possession.
- Our shop: here we can buy armor, weapons or useful objects for our character.
GRAPHICS:
The images speak for themselves ... Infinity Blade is the game that offers the highest graphic quality today within the iOS platform and the adaptation work that Epic Games has done with the Unreal Engine 3 is really impressive.
The game moves with incredible ease on the iPad and the graphics are closer to what a desktop console offers us to what a mobile device offers us, even so, the version for the iPad looks slightly worse and less defined than the version for the iPhone 4 and is that you can see the resolution of the Retina Display on a 3,5-inch screen.
CONTROL SYSTEM:
Many have judged Infinity Blade ahead of time and have called it a game with very good graphics but with a terrible control system, however, the reality is quite different. The guys at Epic Games have been able to perfectly adapt the control that this type of game requires to the touch screen of the iPhone.
During the game we will have to perform different gestures to avoid attacks or to launch them but always with an order and control, no crushing the iPad screen with your finger from one side to the other.
