With the release of version 5, Infuse took the opportunity to adapt the new subscription systems that Apple had made available to developers, a subscription system that many developers have begun to abuse much to the annoyance of many users who are not willing to pay one more subscription every month to be able to use an application.
With the arrival of Infuse 5, Firecore, the developer of the application offered us to buy the application for 13,99 euros, 4 euros more expensive than the price of the previous version. In addition, it offered us an annual subscription system, of 6,99 euros, with which we could enjoy the new versions and upcoming updates of Infuse.
But after the last price update, if we want to buy Infuse 5 Pro and enjoy all the updates it offers us until a new version is released, we will have to pay 16,99 euros, thus raising the price of it again. But if we want to go to the annual subscription system, we will have to pay 9,99 euros, or the monthly subscription system, the latter is new, at 0,99 euros.
The guys from Firecore offer Infuse 4 Pro users a 25% discount on the price of the application if we choose to make use of the payment that allows us to obtain all the updates that are released in the future from Infuse, a price that amounts to 32,99 euros. If we had not previously used this application, we can also choose to make this purchase that ensures updates throughout the life of the application, for 43,99 euros.
This new pricing policy it's a real nonsense no matter where you look. Spend in just over a year, from selling the application for 9,99 euros to offering it for 16,99 current euros in an ass, without counting on the different offers that allow us to enjoy the application for a lifetime that you may have in the App Store, a life that based on its history of success, will be extremely long.
If before it was already difficult for me to consider the possibility of investing again in Infuse 5 to take advantage of the aesthetic and functional novelties that it brought us, the one related to the compatibility of formats and videos remains practically intact, this new price renewal has achieved the opposite, since I will continue to use Infuse Pro 4, as well as many users, until the application stops doing so.
Infuse 5 is available in two versions: a free one with many limitations that we can update to the Pro version using in-app purchases, and a Pro version, than the full version of it, where we find all the functions and many more that I have detailed in this article.
Every day I see less sense of Infuse. In my case, I used it to watch movies that I downloaded, but with the addition of Netflix, HBO, Movistar, Amazon Video, I don't use it at all.
On top of that they increase the prices ??? That they continue like this, they can go downhill fast ...

A silly question, does infuse Pro 4 still use the metadata or does this functionality stop working?
I say it more than anything because if I infuse 4 Pro it continues to work the same even knowing that there will be no updates, I do not find it so bad….
I bought infuse 5 Pro a year ago (€ 13,99), but if when infuse 6 Pro comes out (I hope that in a long time) my infuse 5 Pro continues with all the functionalities intact, I don't see it so bad… ..
It continues to work as the first day, hence many of the users who use it, we do not plan to renew it, at least until it stops working. If you bought version 5 Pro, it will last you a few years longer than me, who has Infuse Pro 4.

I have installed version 4 free and it gives me the possibility to buy the 4 Pro paying € 10,99. Is it worth saving the € 6 difference compared to the 5 Pro version which costs € 16,99?
I mean, if they are only cosmetic changes and little else, is it valid to pay now for version 4 Pro or can I get stuck because they get rid of it?
It would also bother me to pay those € 17 and that they release version 6 shortly and stay out of date ...
