Last November, the social network Instagram began a series of tests on Android to allow users to use different accounts without having to constantly close and log in. This has been one of the most requested demands by the user community in recent years and since Instagram is taking too long to implement.
While Android users can already enjoy this possibility, iOS users have not received any news about it, until this week. A few days ago, Instagram launched a minor update in the App Store, but from this new version some users have begun to see an option that allows to change account without having to log out and enter username and password. To find out if Instagram has included you in this test, these are the steps you have to follow:
Go to your profile and click on the settings icon, located in the upper right corner of the app. Navigate to the bottom of the menu and see if a «Add Account«. If so, enter the details of that account and you will be able to switch between different profiles more easily and quickly. To do this, every time you want to jump from one profile to another, simply click on the settings icon. Every time you receive a notification, Instagram will show you which account that notification comes from.
