Instagram will integrate an automatic translator like Twitter and Facebook

Instagram

A few days ago we informed you of the news related to the photography platform, which has managed to reach 500 million users. To celebrate, Mark Zuckerberg posted a photograph on his Instagram account in which we could see how curiously his MacBook Pro it has both the camera and the microphone covered...

The social network of photographs that was founded in 2010 and that was acquired by Facebook in 2012, has been growing by leaps and bounds and currently already has more active users than the microblogging social network Twitter, which remains stagnant at 300 million users despite the latest developments that the company is implementing.

As is logical, the intention of Instagram is to continue growing so next month they will add a translator that will allow us to see in our language all the comments, annotations and others that users write in other languages. In this way, the photo and video platform takes another step to continue attracting users by eliminating any barrier that language may pose, especially when following accounts of famous people such as actors, singers, politicians ...

This new feature will not come in the form of an update, Yes, it will automatically appear in our feed. When this function is activated, next to the publication we will see the option See translation, on which we will have to click for the text in our language. At the moment this system will only be available for the publications that are made from the moment of the implementation of this option, so it is very likely that at the beginning it will not be available in the old publications.

At the moment we do not know the supported languages, but presumably the platform offers support for the most widely spoken languages worldwide and that over time, it adds support to more languages, although of course everything will depend on the use of this service in countries not supported from the beginning.
