And, speaking of what is right or wrong, we can also install cracked apps without paying a single penny.

From my point of view, the piracy benefits no one. In music, software and other similar things, if we all pirate we will be making a developer / artist unable to earn a living with what we like, so they will stop doing it and we will not be able to enjoy it. Everyone can do what they believe, but I see it that way. On the other hand, being able to test things out before paying for them might also be a good idea. That said, next we will show you how to install cracked .ipa files on your iPhone, iPod or iPad.

How to install pirated apps on iPhone

The first thing you have to do is install a Cydia tweak that you will find in unofficial repositories (I recommend repo.hackyouriphone.org). This is one of the first applications alternatives to install0us that exists since even before the famous application to download and install pirated applications disappeared. To install it, you just have to go to http://www.vshare.com with iPhone Safari and select the apple icon.

AppSync will allow you to install the application from the same browser. Once installed, you only have to search for the desired application and download it. You may see links, in which case you should choose one and start downloading to install it later.

appcake: this application is also very old, and precisely that makes it reliable. To install AppCake we will go to the web https://www.iphonecake.com and the rest is pretty much the same as vShare.

There are many other applications, but these two are the ones that I would recommend. App Addict, whose application I translated into Spanish at the time, has internal problems among its developers that make it impossible to recommend it. In fact, if I'm not mistaken they have also disappeared, terminating some of their components in AppCake.

With iTunes

This is the simplest and most recommended. The vShare and AppCake websites also allow us to download the .ipa file to our computer. Once the .ipa file is downloaded, we just have to do Double click about it so that we can copy it to iTunes. Once in iTunes, we only have to synchronize with our iPhone, iPod or iPad and iTunes will install it for us. There's no more.

If you don't want to sync with iTunes, there is also another option, which is to download the .ipa to your computer and then send it to the iPhone via iFile to open it with vShare or AppCake. This may be a good idea if the file we want to download is heavy, since downloading with applications can take a long time.

Is the warranty lost when the iPhone is hacked?

This question does not have a clear answer. Be supposed to we do not lose the guarantee when hacking the iPhone. I say "presumed" because Apple could put problems to repair an iPhone if we have jailbroken it, but it is unlikely. What risks do I run if I hack the iPhone?

As we have explained in the previous point, hacking the iPhone is called the jailbreak. By jailbreaking an iOS device we are getting Super-user access (also known as Root), which allows us to make modifications that Apple does not allow us by default. So far everything is fine. The problem is that we will not only be opening a door to be able to make changes ourselves, but we will also open a door through which other people can access.

What happens then? Well, since we have more freedom, we can install a compromised application or tweak by a malicious user and install malicious code with them that steals our information. It is not very common, but it is a real possibility.

On the other hand, as I have mentioned in the previous point, all flashing can run into a problem. The failure rate is almost non-existent (in fact I don't know of any case), but we have to comment on it as a possibility. If we install the jailbreak and it cannot start again, as I have also mentioned, we can take it to an Apple Store and say that it happened to us trying to update to a higher iOS version with iTunes or via OTA. But what if we don't have any Apple Store nor authorized establishment nearby? Perhaps in those cases, it is best to leave things as they are.

Can I update pirated iPhone apps?

Yes, but logically not from the App Store. To update an application that we have not purchased, we will have to do it by downloading a new .ipa of that application and installing it on top of the one we already have. If we use an app like AppCake, just do what we did when we first downloaded it: search for it, find a newer version, download and install it.

We can also update an application downloading the new .ipa to our computer, by double clicking on it and synchronizing with iTunes.

As I said above, piracy benefits no one, so you have to do a responsible use of the information in this little tutorial, such as testing an application to make sure it meets our expectations before paying for something we don't know if we like it or not. The most logical thing is to pay for the applications that we like, since we will allow the developer to continue improving it. Otherwise, and if we all did the same, we would end up using a version 1.0 of each application and we would never have seen big updates like Tweetbot 4 or Reeder 3. Do you agree with me?
