Intuiton, a question and answer game that prioritizes our strategy

insight

Do you like trivia games? In this type of game we can demonstrate our knowledge, but what if we added a little strategy to the cocktail? If we added it, that cocktail would be called insight, a game with which we can compete with other players to see who can get the most questions right and, on the other hand, show who is capable of developing the best strategy to eliminate opponents.

But, what is that to eliminate opponents? Well, Intuiton is not a Set of questions and answers normal; There are already several of that type in the App Store and they end up not contributing anything new. The main game of this post, in addition to the questions, adds other elements that will make everything more fun, such as lives that we must maintain to get as far as possible or try to make our rivals lose them.

Intuiton introduces lives to trivia games

The mechanics of the game are simpler than it sounds: to begin with, we need rivals to compete with. To find them, we can search through our contacts, online or wait for them to invite us (important to have active notifications if this is what we want). Once we have already created a group of opponents, we will get ready to start the game.

These games, as we have already mentioned several times, are questions and answers. As it would be very difficult or not very fluid for each one to write an answer, Intuiton will offer us an answer for each user (that is, 4 if we are 4) from which each user must choose one. Above each answer, the avatar of the user who has selected it will appear, but that does not mean that we cannot choose it. And, the strangest thing in a game of this type, only one of the answers will be wrong and that will be the answer that, in the beginning, makes us lose one of the 5 lives with which we started the game.

With regards to life system, we would have the following:

  • Correct answer: we maintain the lives that we have at that time.
  • Shared answer (the same one that another user has chosen): we will lose half a life.
  • Wrong answer: we will lose a life.
  • We do not respond: we will lose a life.

At the end of each game, they will be distributed prizes in the form of coins that we can exchange for some improvements. The improvements will be a Life robber, with which we can steal a life from a rival, or the Reclosing, which will allow us to return to the game when we have already run out of lives, something that we will do with the same number of lives as the opponent who had the most lives when they eliminated us.

The possibility of "tripping", the main reason for their addiction

Because the games are to have fun and pass the time, the great difference of this game with others of a similar theme are the lives and the possibility of managing them, both ours and that of our rivals. Especially when we play with friends, nothing annoys us more than a close acquaintance does us a task that hurts us in a game of something. But if someone steals a life from us in a game, make no mistake about it that there will only be one word engraved in our minds: Revenge. In the next game we will try to do better to have the possibility of stealing a life from us to him and watch him bite the dust. But, if we do, what we will be doing is bringing the tail close to a fish that will not stop turning on its own.

Another fun part of Intuiton is taking certain risks - we already know that there are three valid answers, but some of them will be more logical than others. Taking this into account, it is in our power to choose a more logical answer and get more ballots to lose half a life because another user chooses the same answer or choose the least logical of the correct answers to try to make no one answer the same as we do and keep life complete. The decision is ours.

If you like trivia games, I'm not going to name other titles from the App Store, but we must admit that in the end it is all very monotonous. If you are looking for a breath of fresh air, Intuiton is like 50 for 15 the other way (Do you want to be a millionaire?) Which is played with several users, with only one wrong answer and in which lives are very important. Who gives more?
