Is iOS 10 faster than iOS 9.3.5?

The Cupertino-based company released the final version of iOS 10 yesterday morning / afternoon, a version that is currently being adopted by a large number of users who were eager to test it. If you have been making use of the different betas that Apple has launched since its official presentation last June, you will know that the performance of practically all the betas has been more than good, hardly offering performance problems and with more than acceptable battery consumption.

However, if to date you have not tried any of the betas and you are still thinking about updating your devices to iOS 10, but you have doubts about what performance it will be able to offer on your device, below we leave you several speed tests in which you can see if the performance of your device will be equal, higher or lower which you are currently enjoying.

It should be remembered that iOS 10 is not compatible with the same terminals with which iOS 9 was, since Apple has eliminated the oldest and less powerful devices from the list, such as iPhone 4s, iPad Mini, iPad 2 and 3, and 5th generation iPod touch. These devices will only be able to continue enjoying the latest version of iOS 9.3.5 or earlier versions.

As we can see in the videos, iOS 10 is somewhat slower when starting the device, but once on we can see how it works in a much more fluid way than with the latest version of iOS that Apple is currently signing, iOS 9.3.5.

On my iphone 5s it is more fluid, faster and the battery lasts longer. Great work from Apple here, at least so far.

I have an ipad mini with IOS 9.3.5, and it tells me that it is up to date. Doesn't support IOS10?

THE IPAD MINI is not compatible with iOS 10, so the update to the latest version of iOS has not been skipped
