The Health application has become the nerve center where all the data collected through the different accessories that are compatible with this application are processed, among which we obviously find the data that is recorded through the Apple Watch with the application Activity. Since its launch, many users have not fully understood why there was no human form of power make a copy of this data in iCloud, so that once the device is restored, or if we acquire a new one, all the previous records could not be dumped on the new device. But it's over with iOS 11.
Thanks to iOS 11 all the data stored in the Health application will be automatically stored in iCloud, as well as the Messages that we send so that they are present on all devices, in this way also, if we use different devices to go running and for the day by day all the data they will be updated through iCloud on all devices associated with the same account.
In previous versions of iOS, such as the current one, the synchronization of the data of the Health application was not possible. If a user wanted to make a copy of the data stored in this application to restore it on other devices, they had to make an encrypted copy via iTunes and restore it to the new device, or make use of an application available in the App Store, which allows us to do it quickly and easily, as long as we are willing to pay the 5 euros it costs.
To be able to activate this synchronization, we must go to Settings, click on our user and go to iCloud. This section shows all applications that use iCloud to synchronize the data. With iOS 11, the Health application appears, whose switch we must activate if we want the data of this application to be stored in the Apple cloud and to be available to all devices associated with the same ID.
