iOS 11 will automatically delete the applications that we use little, but it will keep your data

En Actualidad iPhoneBoth my colleague José and yours truly inform you weekly of all the application or game offers that are available for download for free or are available with a significant discount. If you are one of those users who download all the applications that we show you, it is likely that over time, your device is full of these types of applications, applications that we only download to try them but we have not used them again. Apple is aware of this and with the arrival of iOS 11 it will continuously analyze our device and will be in charge of deleting these types of applications.

iOS 11 will periodically erase the applications that we have installed on our device but have not been used for a long time. Of course, to prevent users from putting their hands to their heads before the possible loss of the information that is stored in it, the next version of iOS will converse all the data stored in it. In addition, it will also allow us to quickly reinstall the application from its settings, from where we can confirm if we want to erase all the data that had been stored in it.

In order to access the data of the applications that have been deleted by not having used them for a long period of time, not established by Apple, we must go to the iOS Settings and click on Storage, where we will find the option to completely delete the data or retrieve the application directly without having to go to the App Store.

This new function is ideal to keep our device with the largest available space, since it will prevent us from occupying space in it with applications that we do not use. It could have already launched this option when the Cupertino-based company launched the 16 GB models.Surely many would have appreciated it.

I have a lot of apps loaded on both iPad and iPhone.
In general I don't use them but when I need them I want to be able to use them without any problems. If I decide they don't work, I'll just delete them.
    Hope this feature is optional.

    Thank you
