Apple will present the new iOS 13 at WWDC 2019, which begins on June 3. Little more than a month to know the details of the next update that will be with us for a year and that will lay the foundations of what Apple wants to do in the coming years with your mobile devices, both iPhone and iPad.

Dark Mode and Multitasking
We have been talking about dark mode in iOS for years, with many users wishing that Apple finally chose to implement this feature that some applications have already incorporated, and that already exists in macOS. The wait will end with iOS 13 because dark mode will be a system-wide feature, which can be activated from the Settings, and which will also include a high contrast mode.
But something that will undoubtedly be very much to the liking of iPad users will be the new multitasking, with the possibility of having several open windows and to be able to move them freely on the iPad screen as "cards", which can be stacked on top of each other. It would be an approach to macOS multitasking but adapted to a touch interface, that is, what many of us were asking for the iPad, especially for the Pro versions that intend to replace computers.
Undo gestures and improvements in Safari
Many of you may not know it, but in iOS you can almost always undo something written by shaking the device. When we talk about the iPhone it is something that can be done in a more or less subtle way, but when we have a 12.9 ″ iPad on a table, shaking it to undo seems pore feasible. With iOS 13 Apple will include a new gesture to undo the text you have written on the iPad, which will consist of tapping with three fingers on the keyboard, swiping left to undo or right to redo.
Safari will also bring important changes to the iPad, and that is that it will automatically ask websites to show the desktop version, instead of the mobile version. It is ridiculous to see a screen adapted for the iPhone screen on a screen larger than 12 inches, and although you can order the desktop version manually from Safari, it is something that could have happened automatically for a long time.
Mail enhancements, item selection, and more
Mail has remained unchanged for a long time, too much for most users, who have been migrating to other applications with better features and a more modern design. It seems that Apple is finally going to improve its email application, which will allow you to organize the emails into categories (marketing, shopping, travel ...) and also allow you to send the emails to a mailbox to read later.
When selecting many elements in tables or collections, we can perform a gesture similar to what we now do in macOS with the mouse or trackpad, pressing and dragging. Through a gesture with multiple fingers we can select several elements at the same time. Apple wants teamwork within third-party applications to be easier for developers to do.
Other improvements will include a new Reminders app, a less intrusive volume bar than the current one (which occupies the center of the screen), better recognition of "Hey Siri" so you don't jump in with the laughter or crying babies, better multi-language keyboard and dictation support, and improved printing options within third-party applications.
