iOS 15 does not convince and this is demonstrated by its installation figures

iOS 14.6 vs. iOS 15

It is not a news that has to alarm Apple much less but it does seem that the installation of iOS 15 on Apple devices is being somewhat slower than expected. Many users are waiting to update and this is evident in the adoption figures for Apple's new operating system.

The reason for this wait on the part of many users is not clear. It may be due to the changes implemented in the browser, due to simple carelessness or even because they are afraid of possible failures in this version of the operating system. Let us remember that the problem unlocking with Apple Watch when we wear the mask. Undoubtedly an important failure that led thousands of users who could not use this function due to the failure in the update.

IOS 15 adoption is still slower compared to iOS 14

Two weeks after its official launch, the installation figures for iOS 15 are still well below usual compared to the new versions previously released by Apple. These are data offered by the Mixpanel analysis company and that reflect websites such as 9To5Mac.

Now this data indicates that only 8,59% of users updated their devices to iOS 15 within 48 hours of the official launch. This figure compared to the same period of time in the previous version is well below, with iOS 14 in the following 48 hours it was already installed on the iPhone by 14,68% of users. The data is clear and on Tuesday, October 5, the installation figures stood at 22,22% of the total, while in iOS 14 the same October 5, 2020, 41,97% of users with iOS 14 were reached.

Well, that it is not mandatory but optional to update (not like before) surely has something to do with the issue. Most people are scoffed at by switching OS

In my case, I went back to 14.8 while apple was still signing it.
In some devices you could not answer messages from the locked screen, unlock and respond (even though it is fast, it is wasting time) for something that was simpler before.
