Apple has decided to start with the presentation of iOS 16 in its inaugural WWDC22 keynote. iOS 16 includes great news that were rumored for a few weeks now. Among them one great lock screen customization. In true watchOS style, we can modify the home screen by dragging widgets, shortcuts, modifying time styles, images, and much more.
Endless possibilities in the new iOS 16 lock screen
The lock screen editor is accessed by long pressing on the screen and the library of lock screens that we have designed is displayed. We can select different widgets to configure in the multiple available modules, as we do by modifying the screen of our Apple Watch.
Apple plays with the overlapping of elements, of the time, with different fonts and depths on the lock screen. In this way we achieve fill the screen with complications and different styles to give it life. It's much more fun than before.
In addition, Apple makes a lot of different libraries available to the user: weather with animations, images that vary, and a long etcetera. On the other hand, transitions are added to unlock the screen that give fluid access to the home screen, a great achievement by Apple for this iOS 16.
