IOS 7 beta 6 is now available

ios 7 beta 6

This beta has taken us totally by surprise. Apple just launched, a few minutes ago, the sixth beta of iOS 7 that, if you have your UDID registered, you can download directly via OTA. To download your update, simply go to Settings- General- Software Update and download the new version of Apple's operating system. If you are a developer and have access to the Developer Center, then you can download the package from the portal if you need it.

As we said, it is an atypical launch within Apple's beta availability calendar. The company normally launches a beta every two weeks and six betas in total until the final one, also known as the Golden Master, is released. Inside Apple sources leaked today that probably the Golden Master version of iOS 7 will be ready for download the next September 10, just after the presentation of the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.

Today's update weighs just over 13 megabytes, so highlights are not included, just small improvements related to iTunes integration with iCloud.

In the next few days we will try to provide direct download links.

I could install it via OTA without having my UDID registered. Have to bring us this beta again!

    1.    pato said

      How did you do it?

      1.    SAP10 said

        I had previously installed beta 5. Normal - Settings> General> Software Update

        1.    Chaos said

You didn't have any problems despite not being registered as a developer?

          1.    Jaime Rueda said

There is no problem, they are total updates and it does not ask you to enter data again such as your apple account to see if you are a developer or not

        I had previously installed beta 5. Normal - Settings> General> Software Update

      Let's see, not have.

Anyway, I'm not a developer and I installed iOS 7 about 15 days ago and it runs very well

  3.   Pablo said

Yes, it works perfectly on iphone 5.

  4.   Elver Galarga said

The update weighs 13 megabytes. It sure does not bring too many improvements.

  5.   SAP10 said

With the duration of the battery being lengthened, I would be very satisfied!

    1.    Pablo Mauricio Aguilar Caro said

I personally find that battery performance has improved on iOS7

  6.   Mark said

The effect with panoramic images was not corrected. When you use them as wallpaper they don't move 360 degrees….

Does anyone know what it means to "trust the store" that appears in Settings> General> Information?

At the bottom is »Trust the store» followed by some numbers

  8.   J. Ignacio Videla said

I haven't seen any visible improvement yet, but I don't know if it's suggestion, or I see a slight increase in performance on the springboard.

I think we will see Betas of iOS 7 until like 8, and the unlock sound went away never to return.

  9.   chambonea said

When will you have the post with the news?

    1.    Pablo_Ortega said

As we say in the post, only a few bugs have been corrected.

  10.   unOmOe said

installed and testing, curious detail that I do not know if the other betas already had it is that you can close several multitasking applications with several fingers at the same time at least 3, the springboard comment that it is a little faster I am also experiencing it Like the change of application opening and closing slightly faster and as Ignacio says the unlocking sound disappeared, what you notice when turning on is that it takes longer to turn on about 2 and a half minutes, I hope the small review will serve you

    1.    Elver Galarga said

Unlocking sound disappeared from the previous beta.

    2.    Rafa said

The closing with several fingers is from the first beta, but it was not going very well

    3.    Luis Fernandez said

It only takes time to start on iPad mini, iPod touch and iPhone 5 without problems ...

  11.   einarenrique said

Since Beta 5 I have a problem with multitouch gestures when minimizing an app, the screen remains only with the wallpaper and nothing else can be done, all that remains is to restart, in this Beta it has not been solved, until now not found a solution to this bug that bothers you a lot. I hope someone knows something about it.

    1.    DriveBitch! said

I've ended up deactivating the multitouch gestures: / hopefully this will be solved in the next beta.

Does anyone know if it can be published on Facebook and Twitter from the notification center? And a novelty that I have noticed is that in Safari it suggests passwords

    1.    J. Ignacio Videla said

No, apparently that also left, never to return.

  13.   Álvaro said

i miss being able to search wikipedia and safari from spolight! besides that I think that the transparencies in iphone4 could be added (a tone like that of the folders) it is very rare to have the black CN

on the other hand, the function of defining has improved a lot by adding dictionaries.

    1.    J. Ignacio Videla said

If you were able to optimize the interface for the dock, spotlight and folders, why not make the effort to bring it to the notification center and control center?

      1.    alvaro said

Exactly, with the same spotlight transparency it would be more than enough, or at least a tone like the dock, but as this one it seems very shabby

  14.   Goyo said

Well, I installed via OTA and it left me in recovery mode so I installed from 0 and recovered the iCloud copy from yesterday. Ruin.

  15.   Dani said

Can I install it from the phone if there are problems? I have the previous beta ...

    1.    Jaime Rueda said

      Yes, via ota

  16.   Marco Aurelio Burgos Caricol said

A curiosity for what they did not realize: now in Safari we can go back / forward in the pages with a gesture of turning the page that is activated from the side edges towards the center, both two 😉

    1.    Luis Fernandez said

From beta 1 you can do ...

      1.    Marco Aurelio Burgos Caricol said

That's why I said those who did not realize 😉 and I already know what it is from the 1

  17.   Richard13 said

Anyone know if it can be updated without having UDID registered?

    1.    Luis Fernandez said

If possible, install beta 1 and then update via OTA, just update, do not restore

  18.   Borja said

They have touched something because since yesterday the iPhone is different, I don't even know why I update. The battery heats up which is nice, it lasts much less, the stability is not good at all compared to the Beta 5 ... Thank goodness that in a week they should release another Beta ...

Hello, do you know it no longer works to put a panoramic photo on the wallpaper and that it can be seen in its entirety when moving the phone, does it happen to someone else?

    1.    Pablo_Ortega said

Yes, I think they accidentally charged it, because it no longer works

  20.   waner said

It can be updated in settings and update without the need for links

  21.   D_grunge said

Does it happen to someone that the new email notification does not appear on the screen? Only sound, but nothing on screen, it doesn't even predict when a new one arrives.

    1.    Jaime Rueda said

It happens to me too, I think it's a beta bug.

  22.   Manuel said

If someone help me. I want to test the new beta, but I'm still on iOS 6, can someone give me a quick mini-tutorial to put the beta 6? I have read about UDIDs that if you are not a developer it can give problems, but I have read that many have put it without being, so I can download beta 6 and install it manually with iTunes? (Shift + Restore), should I start with beta1, or can I do it directly with 6?

    Thank you.

    1.    Jaime Rueda said

If you have the beta 6 file on your pc yes, if you don't have it with any other beta you install and then update from the cell phone settings. It is with shift + act

  23.   Pablo said

A shit the beta 6, the robe does not last me anything in relation to the previous beta! : /

    1.    Vaderkf said

Me too, I have returned to beta 5

  24.   Vaderkf said

I still can't sync the music from itunes ... the little message waiting for the changes to be applied.

    1.    Jaime Rueda said

Apply the changes and then sync.

  25.   manuel said

I installed it and it works fine. I have noticed that when starting it expands more in the manzanita than the 6.1.3

  26.   Dani said

After several days trying to give iOS 7 a try, I have returned to 6. The only good change in my opinion is the shortcuts. The aesthetics of the icons are horrible and it doesn't hurt to have those minimalist icons and then what you open doesn't look like that. On the other hand, it does not surprise me that they always use the white model because with black there is nothing to do ... The calendar and the Mail is HORRIBLE, an unbearable unfinished aspect, it looks bad and it works even worse. The Navigator? Aesthetic change, no more.
Horrifying FaceTime, as is the shutdown feature. Everything gives the feeling of being unfinished.
We are going that unless they surprise me I stay in iOS 6.

Has iTunes Radio stopped working for someone else? I still have my American account but it has disappeared from the Music application ...

When you open passbook the screen brightness is set to maximum, you exit the app and the brightness returns to normal. At least that happens in this latest beta and on an iPhone 4S

    1.    mdz said

It is supposed to do that since the tickets require a scanner and it is easier to detect them with the screen at maximum than opaque (that happens since iOS 6)
