iOS 7 is right around the corner. In Actualidad iPad we have been analyzing each of the 6 Betas that have appeared since June, the date on which for the first time we could see Apple's new mobile operating system that will be launched this fall. You probably already know which devices will be compatible and which ones will not, but you may not be so clear what iOS 7 features will be available on each device. We explain everything to you in detail so that there are no doubts.
iPhone
It is more than known that the iPhone 3GS is out of the iOS 7 compatibility list. Apple stopped selling the device almost a year ago, and that was a sign that it would soon be out of Apple support. The rest of the iPhone models can be updated, but with differences.
The iPhone 4 is the one with the least important features you can enjoy. Without Siri since the launch of Apple's assistant, it will only have as notable functions the application of filters in the photographs, but from the reel, and the possibility of taking square photos. In the iPhone 4S we must add Siri, although this is not specific to iOS 7, the filters from the camera itself, and the possibility of taking panoramic photos. Finally, in the iPhone 5 we will find all these functions plus the function AirDrop to share files.
iPad
Apple currently sells 3 iPad models: iPad 2, iPad Retina 4, and iPad Mini. To these we must add the iPad retina 3 that was discontinued with the launch of the new iPad 4, but which of course can be updated to iOS 7. The functions in each of them will be different.
The iPad 2 can be updated, but it will not have any of the most important functions of iOS 7. Nothing that we have indicated before in the iPhone section can be used on the iPad 2. It will only be updated, the applications for iOS 7 will work on it, period. The iPad Retina 3, the one with the 30-pin connector, will enjoy Siri, the ability to apply filters to the photos on the roll and to take square photos. The iPad Retina 4, the one with the lightning connector, will also have the option of using AirDrop. The iPad Mini will share the same functions as the iPad Retina 4. No iPad can therefore take panoramic photos or apply filters directly on the camera.
iPod Touch
The only one that can be updated to iOS 7 will be the iPod Touch 5G, which will have all the functions that the iPhone 5 has, except obviously the possibility of making calls.
New Devices
We still have to see the new functions that will bring the new devices to appear at the event, expected to be on September 10. A possible fingerprint reader on the iPhone 5S, or the new functions that the new iPads may offer. We still do not know everything that iOS 7 can give of itself, we will have to wait for the new products to be presented.

Luis, if I remember correctly, in beta 5 they added the option of filters in the camera for the iPhone 4S, therefore it is one more feature available for that device.
A greeting! 🙂
Right, in Beta 4 as I have found. Thanks!!! I correct. 😉

I have an iPhone 4 and an iPad 2 ... I mean, I'm in the oven! as always we will have to wait for Cydia to save us !!!
As the ipod 4g will not be compatible, then for the millions of people who have non-compatible devices that we will stand idly by and this let me like it.
