IOS 7 Direct Download Links for All Devices

iOS 7

iOS 7 is now available to download officially, no developer accounts or anything like that. Any iOS user with a compatible device will be able to update their device. As always happens when an update is released, and especially when it comes to a new version of iOS, the servers are saturated, iTunes takes time to detect that there is a new update, and updates via OTA do not work well. You then have two options: wait for the hours to pass and the avalanche of users connected to Apple's servers decreases, or try and retry until you get the update to download without connection failures. To make things easier for you, we offer you the direct download links of the iOS versions for all devices.

Download links are official Apple, from its own server, so you may have a problem during the first hours. It is as simple as clicking on the link until the download is completed without problems. Experience tells us that in a few hours, the situation will normalize and everything will go as it should.

Have you checked our guide to update to iOS 7 smoothly? If you haven't done it yet, I recommend you take a look First of all, this will avoid possible errors and ensure that you do not lose important data during the process.

Do you know if the GM is the same version released today? And if so, is it worth downloading the version released today and installing it?
    Thank you very much

    1.    Luis Padilla said

It is the same "build", so it must be identical. I never stay with the GM, I think it has no expiration date, but just in case, I prefer to update.

Thanks! I get to her. Once downloaded, which is better ... update or restore?

        1.    Luis Padilla said

          I always restore

having the GM if instead of updating I give it to restore, (previously having made a backup copy) and then I use the backup to get my data back, am I doing it right? Or if I apply my backup copy it stays in the GM version as it was before? Thank you.

            1.    Luis Padilla said

If you restore, the new one will be installed, but you may have to restore device settings and content first.

I'm doing it right now from iTunes I restore (holding alt to access the .ipsw of ios7) and after a couple of minutes it asks me to configure the device, either as a new iPhone, or to restore a backup. in my case I have given to restore copy from iTunes. I hope that in this way I have not taken a step back, I mean that I do not know if the backup includes my files and settings only, or if it also includes the version of ios7 that I had at the time of making the copy, which was the GM.

It pretends to download and when it takes about 500mb it seems that it has finished but it is not complete and itunes says the error that the firmware is not compatible, everything will be collapsed I suppose

It looks to be the same as the GM, at least it occupies the same in bytes and if they had made any change that value would have changed
