iOS 8.4 is no longer signed and it is no longer possible to downgrade

ios-8-4

If you were thinking of doing the downgrade from iOS 8.4.1 or one of the betas from iOS 9 to iOS 8.4 in order to jailbreak your iPhone / iPod or iPad, forget it. For a few hours, Apple no longer signs iOS 8.4, the previous version of iOS 8, and already definitively closes the possibility of using the jailbreak to all those users who have not already done it.

Have been slow 10 days since iOS 8.4.1 was released until the previous version has stopped being signed, a time that is already quite prudent. With this time and with what happened in past versions, it seems clear that Apple was not happy about leaving some users without service due to an update in bad conditions and, since then, it is leaving a lot of time between the last launch and stop signing the older version of iOS.

Logically, this is bad news for all of you who would like to jailbreak your device and plan to downgrade these days, but it is not something that those who have already jailbroken have to worry about. As you know, Saurik launched a tool called Cydia Impactor which allows to restore an iPhone / iPod or iPad from the same device, leaving it as if it were restored with iTunes and without a trace of the jailbreak in a version that is still vulnerable to existing untethered jailbreaks.

The good thing for those who can no longer upload or download to install iOS 8.4 is that Pangu has already shown that it has a jailbreak prepared for iOS 8.4.1 and it is not unreasonable to think that they will launch it in approximately three weeks, when iOS 9 is already in the GM version (Golden Master, the latest beta for developers that is the same as the first public beta and is released a week before). You just have to have a little patience.

Hi, Felix. You can restore from the iPhone, but you can no longer with iTunes. And if you have a jailbreak, with Cydia Impactor.

    A greeting.

A colleague of mine had a problem with cydia impactor, he did everything right, the 6-gigabyte iPhone 64 Plus is very slow, he did the jail again and it works like a stone ... I asked him what tweaks he had, he told me that only 3

    1-virtualhome (xarold)
    2-linktunes (xarold)
    3-bioprotect (xarold)
    4-ccsettings (official)

He is slow so I told him that he will update to iOS 8.4.1, now he is doing fine Filipino (he has been doing jail for years)

He told me what happens to do the jailbreak .. that it is not so worth it, I told him: "it's your decision"

    Everyone has their likes

    Regards!!

An iPhone without Jailbreak is the same as a Z10 you can't do much with it.
