iOS 7 brought us audio calls in FaceTime, an option expected by many that allowed us to make voice calls totally free with FaceTime. In addition to voice calls, with this Apple service we can make video calls with other users who have the application from their Macs, iPods, iPhones or iPads. According to the first betas of iOS 8, we could have group voice calls from FaceTime. These calls would be useful for business issues or simply to talk with our friends in a group. Group voice calls in iOS 8, will be a reality
For those who do not know the existence of FaceTime, I will tell you that it is an Apple service that allows us to make video calls and voice calls between different users (with Apple devices only). So far (officially) we can only do: voice calls or video calls with a single person.
According to the latest analysis of the betas of iOS 8, the operating system that will be released in the fall for all users, It will bring the possibility of making group voice calls. eye! Voice calls only, not video calls.
This new function would give us the possibility of holding meetings between employees of the same company from Facetime without having to stay on another platform (if all employees have an iDevice or a Mac) or stay physically.
