iOS 8 will allow us to use our iPhone as a game controller for the iPad or Mac

Although all the great news about iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite will be presented on Monday, the World Developers Conference 2014 continues its course with other news related to different departments. Yesterday, Apple offered a private session in which he talked about one of his big bets from last year: "MFi" (Made for iPhone). At WWDC 2013, Apple offered new technologies so that manufacturers could offer game accessories compatible with the iPhone. This is how, for example, the PhoneJoy game controller, which is attached to our iPhone, could come to light.

This year, Apple intends to expand the MFi experience to new levels. How? Allowing the use of the iPhone touch screen as a game controller. Therefore, starting with iOS 8, users will not only be able to make use of the physical controls of these controls that are sold for the iPhone, but they will also have the opportunity to combine those functions with the touch screen of their smartphones.

In this way, iOS 8 promises to offer a more "immersive" experience in the world of video games, since the iPhone will act as the command to play titles that we have on our iPad or on our Mac.

Apple still has a lot to do in this area, in which it has not yet found great success. One of his next goals is to offer demos of these products in their establishments to increase sales.
