iOS 9.3 beta 5 disables Night Shift in low power mode

Night Shift

Contrary to what we believed, iOS beta 9.3 5 introduced, at least, a couple of new features. To new feature that will allow us to better manage the installation of a new firmware, there are also some small changes in the system that change the temperature of the screen to respect our circadian cycle, Night Shift. The first one is the option to manually activate the option until the next morning, which will allow us to anticipate sunset, keeping the next sunrise time intact. This option is in Settings / Brightness and display / Night Shift.

On the other hand, now Night Shift is deactivated when the device is in low power mode, reaching disable button o toggle from the Control Center. In beta 4 and earlier, Night Shift was disabled when we activated the energy saving mode, but we could activate it again from the Control Center. That possibility no longer exists since beta 5, something that, it must be said, I do not quite like. What if I want to use both at the same time?

It will not be possible to use Night Shift of iOS 9.3 and the saving mode at the same time

In addition, the way in which we activate Night Shift from the Control center. Now, when we touch its icon from the CC, we will see a warning that will allow us to configure the exact time we want it to deactivate, being able to choose between sunset, sunrise or a specific time. Logically, it is best to either set the time or leave the sunrise option, which will deactivate the option at the time of dawn in our area. Until beta 5, by touching its button in the Control Center we could turn it on or turn it on until the next day.

Although it is not known when iOS 9.3 will arrive exactly, we do believe that it will arrive sometime in March, more specifically from the 15th to the 21st of this month, so we will soon be able to use all the functions of the new version of iOS.
