iOS 9 stalls in adoption as does sales

adoption-fee-ios-9

The last time we informed you about the adoption fee for iOS 9, we showed you that the latest version of iOS 9 was found on 84% of supported devicesbe it iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Meanwhile, iOS 8 was on 11% of devices and the remaining 5% was on iOS 7 or an earlier version. The Cupertino-based company has again updated the data related to the adoption of iOS 9 and as we can see in the image that heads this article, the iOS 9 adoption rate has remained at 84% of devices. It seems that the stagnation of the adoption of the latest version of iOS 9 has coincided with the stagnation of sales of the company's devices.

As we can, the adoption rate of iOS 9 has not moved from the 84% that it showed two weeks ago, but the data related to the adoption rate of iOS 8 and iOS 7 or earlier versions has not moved either. These data, in part, were to be expected considering the decrease in sales that the company has experienced with the iPhone, a device that represents more than half of the income that the company obtains annually.

This data could indicate two things: either that users who are currently using iOS 8 are not interested in upgrading that iOS version to a higher one (It could be for users with older devices like iPhone 4s and iPad 2). Or they could also indicate that as iPhone and iPad sales are falling, something that was already demonstrated in the accounts corresponding to the last quarter that the company presented a few weeks ago.

In just over a month, Apple will launch the first beta of iOS 10, so iOS 9 quota unlikely to reach more devices. It seems that iOS 9 has managed to reach a final adoption rate of 84%, very similar to previous versions of iOS.

It is not in that percentage, I do not think that due to the drop in sales ... the truth is something illogical, if not, because there are people who do not know or download, have an Apple device and do not know how to download those files and with the number of devices sold, 16% is quite likely to be from people of advanced ages who do not update because they do not know, this comes to the fact that it is not necessary to be saying the fall in apple sales every 2 × 3, there I leave it, greetings.
