Apple has begun this Friday to offer paid apps for free from the Apple Store application (be careful, it is not the same as the App Store).

A few weeks ago, rumors began to circulate that the Apple Store for iOS would start giving away remarkable paid content to users for free, and they have. The Apple Store was updated just over a week ago in order to activate this new function.

The first paid application that is offered to us for free in the Apple Store is Zen Color, a game of the category 'puzzle' that normally sells for the price of 1 dollar. We can only download this game from the Apple Store (I repeat, not App Store), giving where it says' Come play. Free.' and giving the download link that will redirect us, this time, to the App Store. Once there, we give where it says 'Redeem' in the right corner of our device and that's it. This app will be available for free until August 27.

Other content that may be made available to us for free in the future may include other applications, iBooks, and other iTunes services. Apple will update the free content it offers each week.

Apple has been adding for some time updates for the iOS Apple Store, adding support for Passbook last year, as well as Siri. In March, Apple added the app's ability to check store availability and different shipping options per item for each order. Recently, Apple has added push notifications to the application to alert users of changes in prices on iPhones and when the delivery date of orders.
