We are already less than two weeks from event's audience in which they will present the iPhone SE and a new iPad from 9.7 inches who is expected to inherit his older brother's name (size wise) and is also called iPad Pro. Looking at past events, I was surprised that Apple had not yet sent the invitations for that event but, in any case, it was expected that one would be held in the spring in which the two mentioned devices would be presented. Today, about four hours ago, they sent the invitations for the event on the 21st.
Now that we have confirmation on when that 9.7-inch iPad Pro that rumors speak of will be presented, images of the cases that should protect it are also circulating on the network. iGeneration has published today the photos that you can see in this post and they would confirm some of the rumors, such as that the new iPad "normal size" will inherit the design of the 12.9-inch model. In the image that heads this article you can see that it has a hole on the left side for the Smart Connector, a connector where you would connect a Smart Keyboard like the one on the iPad Pro, but with a smaller size.
9.7 ″ iPad Pro case would confirm the four speakers
In this case we can see all the holes that the 9.7-inch iPad Pro will need. In addition to the hole for the smart connector, we can also see the headphone port, the mute switch, the volume switch, the Lightning port and the camera port. The latter stands out, where we can see that the hole is elongated, which would leave space for the flash expected to have this new full-size iPad.
The 9.7-inch iPad Pro is expected to have the same design and internals as the 12.9-inch model, including A9X processor together with the M9 motion co-processor, 4GB of RAM and four speakers. According to rumors, the screen of the 9.7-inch model will be 4K and the camera will be the same as that of the iPhone 6s. As always, to find out how it is finally we will have to wait for its presentation on March 21.
