IPhone 3G bluetooth unlocking a little closer

After the recent iPhone 3G unlocking We have a new piece of news that will surely please many of our readers who have always complained about the limited functionality of the iPhone 3G bluetooth. Bluesn0w is the name of the first program (still in a fairly limited version) that avoids these limitations and allows - for example - to search for Bluetooth devices within reach of the iPhone.

Although at the moment this program is only recommended for advanced users, here are the steps to run it correctly.

  1. Download the file
  2. We connect via SSH
  3. Copy the bluesn0w file to / var / root /
  4. In the terminal of the iPhone, we do an SSH -l root localhost. The password is the same as always (alpine) unless you have changed it
  5. Change permissions with chmod -R 777 ./bluesn0w
  6. Run using ./bluesn0w

That is all.

Let's see when it is achieved, since seeing your friends with normal cell phones passing photos, music and videos and you with your superIphone stare, it passes until shame!

It is a great advance, without a doubt, but will it also come out for the first generation iPhone? That is my great doubt.

Hello, I want to buy an iPhone and I still don't know almost anything about the iPhone. What caught my attention from the forums is that it does not have bluetooth.

I wanted to know if, like an ipod, it can be connected to the computer, therefore, synchronize it with itunes and thus be able to obtain music.

Maybe it sounds a bit absurd but I don't have a great knowledge on the subject. Any information is welcome.

    A kiss
