The study has been published by the guys from Strategy Analytics, in which they publish the sales of smartphones in Europe during the year 2021. This is where the record of Apple's sales is taken, and Samsung's loss of leadership:
- In the year 2021 the growth of the iPhone was 11%, Apple got 23% of the market share.
- Samsung had the highest market share with 29%, but experienced a decrease of 1%. Non-significant drop that ends up being in a market with great competition.
- Realme joined the top five for the first time ever, taking 3% of the market share.
- Realme grew 500% throughout the year and 548% in the fourth quarter.
