The "notch" of the new iPhone X is undoubtedly something that cannot be avoided since it houses the double camera of the device and the sensors, this is something that undoubtedly limits the display of the icons that we have at the top of the screen and in the case of the battery that is on the right side allows us see only the icon of «the stack» without the percentage in numbers.
So we are looking at the ways we have to be able to see this figure and the only one that there is is not usual in the iPhone. And it is that usually the option that we have active now in all iPhones except for the XNUMXth anniversary model is to access Settings> Battery and activate the battery percentage, the number appears on the screen and that's it. In the case of the iPhone X this is not possible due to the limited space, but we can see this figure quickly and easily.
How to see this battery percentage on the iPhone X
Well, to see the battery percentage in these new iPhone X is as simple as accessing from the Control Center. For it we just have to swipe down from the top right corner of the screen just above the battery icon and the actual percentage of battery remaining will appear in figures. We do not need to activate anything, simply from our Control Center.
This is so and it does not seem that it will change in the near future, but we do not rule out that Apple will add or think of adding directly the possibility of change the battery icon to the percentage icon. Possibly with a jailbreak this would be possible, but in principle we discarded what gave us so much years ago.
The reason why we do not have the option to add both icons at the same time is obvious: the lack of physical space. And is that the screen of the new Apple flagship has this tab called notch that prevents adding the icons as in the iPhone 8, 7, etc. Whenever we want to see the percentage, we will have to access the Control Center.
