We know more details about the iPhone X interface

iPhone X

As the launch day of the new iPhone X increase the desire to know more aspects of this revolutionary iPhone with which Apple celebrates its tenth anniversary.

It is true that in the presentation of the iPhone X we could see perfectly the most striking details of how this device will be, but we want to focus on some details of the interface that have not been mentioned in depth and are really interesting.

We are going to focus on three basic aspects of the new iPhone that totally differ from its iPhone ancestors. These aspects are: home screen, locked screen and control center. Let's review them one by one:

Locked screen

When we have the iPhone X locked we see how there are some details that differ, logically, from the previous models.

On the one hand we find that the already known text "Press the start button to unlock" gives way to a new text: «Slide up to open». This would be the translation of the original text "Swipe up to open".

On the other hand, they have been incorporated two shortcuts at the bottom of the screen. On the left side we will find a direct access to the Lantern of our device, while on the right side we will have access to the camera. We remember that in previous iPhones, to access the camera we had to slide from right to left to access it without having to unlock the device.

IPhone X home screen

The new iPhone X has completely redesigned its Dock, as it happened in the new iPad with iOS 11. This new Dock presents. a design with rounded corners and floating with a slight gap between the edges of the device.

As was the case with its previous version, it only allows us to place a maximum of 4 applications. Just above this Dock, we continue to see the white dots that refer to the screen we are on.

Another novelty that we will find in this new Apple product will be that just below the Dock, we can see a very thin bar that will enable us slide up to perform other functions, including close applications.

Control center

Unsurprisingly, by taking full advantage of the display on this device, the control center it has been forced to change its position. Now, with the iPhone X, we will have to slide from above to be able to see the different options or buttons that the control center offers us.

Until now in the upper left corner we could see the coverage what we had and the name of our operatoras well as the quality of the connection WiFi, when it was connected.

In the upper right corner we could see data such as battery, the icon of Bluetooth, alarm or lock to rotate the screen. And in the center, the hour.

With the new screen redesigned by Apple, this bar has undergone some changes, as we can see in the following image.

As far as we have been able to see, the hour would scroll to the upper left corner, while the icons on the battery, WiFi and coverage they will change sides, standing in the upper right corner.

If you look at the picture, the space is very small so the other icons such as Bluetooth, data from our operator or alarm would appear when we slide from above, as a much more complete status bar and with those data that cannot be displayed by default when we are on the home screen or in any other application together with the other buttons of the control center.

Conclusions

As we can see, the design change of this new iPhone X is a head warming for app developers, since the upper tab placed in the center of the device causes the visualization of the apps to require a major effort and totally different from the one used for previous versions of iPhone.
