iREB RC3 solution to 16xx errors when restoring

iREB, is a tool that helps in the event that when restoring from iTunes, it gives us 16xx error. Very useful for install custom firmwares or the Whited00r firmwares that we brought you a few days ago and that so many 1600 errors have given our users.

It is compatible with iOS 4.2.1 (also 4.1 and 4.0)

It works with:

  • iPhone 2G / 3G / 3G [S] / 4
  • iPod Touch 1G / 2G / 3G / 4G
  • iPad
  • Apple TV 2

You can download it here.

THANK YOU for this post. I had an iPhone that always gave me a 1603 error when trying to restore. I had already lost hope. I just fixed it with that little program.

    Cheers and thank you again.

It happens to me the same as to Ruben.
Without iReb, it gave error 1601
Passing iReb, it installs without problems (yes, Cydia appears empty of repositories. Not even Bigboss, which you have to enter by hand)
But it does not have any telephone provider! so you can't call !!
