After the arrival of iTunes 12.1 almost three weeks ago, Apple has launched a iTunes update dedicated to Windows users, thus reaching version 12.1.1 of the program that many continue to use to synchronize their iPhone or iPad.
The news of this iTunes update are not many and are intended to fix minor bugs that should improve the overall performance of the application. One of the errors that has been corrected consisted of a bug related to the synchronization of the devices with Outlook. Another failure that has been forgotten is one that affected audio playback.
You can download iTunes 12.1.1 for Windows from the Apple's official website. Here are the minimum hardware requirements to be able to enjoy this version of iTunes fluently:
- PC computer with 1 GHz Intel or AMD processor and 512 MB RAM
- Windows XP Service Pack 3 or later, 32-bit versions of Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
- 64-bit versions of Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 require the 64-bit iTunes installer
- Windows requirements
- 400 MB free hard disk space
- Broadband Internet connection to use the iTunes Store
Although iTunes is not a very demanding program in terms of hardware resources, it is a software that little by little it is losing popularity between users. IOS devices are already completely autonomous and except for very specific tasks such as synchronizing the iTunes library, for the rest of things it is hardly used on a day-to-day basis.
I see everything the same
In Windows 8.1 you can see now the audio is going well, the audio was choppy before ... 👍
