Widgets are small "windows" in which certain information is shown, with which we can sometimes interact, and that we can place where we like the most. Android users are more than familiar with these types of elements, but those of us who use iOS cannot enjoy them natively. It is quite different if we have the Jailbreak done, since there are several applications in Cydia that allow you to install widgets on our device, such as iWidgets, which was just updated to be compatible with iOS 7 and with all devices, including the most modern. Do you want to know how it works? We show you in video the installation of widgets on our iPhone.
Widgets must be placed in a blank space. Since at the moment Gridlock, the application that allows us to place icons where we want, does not support iOS 7, I have resorted to "iBlank for iOS 7" to be able to create totally transparent icons and place them on top of the springboard to make room for my widgets. Once the hole is made, and with iWidget installed, you just have to press and hold on a blank space so that the widget selection menu appears and we can select the one we want. If we keep pressed on the widget, we can move it to where we want, or delete it by clicking on the "x" in the upper left corner.
Where to get the widgets? In Cydia there are dozens of them. Although not all of them are compatible with iWidget, many are. In addition to the two in the video, there are many others, with different configuration options. You just have to perform a search in Cydia with the word "iWidget" or simply "Widget" and a long list will appear.
Both "iWidget" and "iBlank for iOS 7" are two free applications that you can find in the ModMyi repo. What are your favorite widgets? Share them with us in the comments.

It can be put on the lock screen since I see it more interesting there?
It is somewhat tedious to be creating iblanks, there is a tweak called iconolasm, which serves to put the icons as you want, it would be easier, it's just my opinion 🙂 good Post.
It is another good alternative, yes. Thanks!!
The two widgets that you install in the video of which repo are they? I do not give them thanks

Thanks Luis, I already found out with them how I did it so that the clock will appear in Spanish and for your city to catch the time? I get the degrees in celsius where do you change? Thanks again
Look at the description of the Cydia package, everything you have to do is detailed.
I still can't? Someone to explain me well, I have gone to cydia and I installed iwidget but when pressing the side or on the icons nothing happens, any solution?
Click in an empty place, where there is nothing.
There is no way it works !!! no matter how much you put your finger where there is nothing.
I answer to myself so that you can solve the problem that nothing appears by pressing in the empty space
The problem was that it is not compatible with infiniboard.
I uninstalled it and it works for me.
I hope I can help you

How can I set the time of my city Luis?
someone knows how to set the clock in 12 hr not 24 hr like this, and the time to adapt it to my city
All correct, but the time given by the Widget, where is it from ???
It depends on the widget you use, but generally you have to edit a widget file using iFile to set the correct time.
