JMDictate transform iPhone or iPod Touch into a dictation device.
The user interface has a simple structure that comes down to the bare essentials. Dictations are saved in format WAV to ensure maximum compatibility with players used by most operating systems.
Features:
- Rewind and record: recordings can be edited at any time.
- The recording controls are very fast.
- Voice control: automatically avoid pauses in dictation.
- Intuitive, powerful, user-friendly interface.
Dictations can be sent by e-mail, downloaded to your computer, uploaded to your iDisk (MobileMe) or sent to workflow systems.
No intermediate servers are used to send e-mails.
The free version of JMDictate offers all the functions of JMDictate, but limits the duration of each dictation to 30 seconds (in the full version they can last up to 90 minutes) and does not allow managing more than 5 dictations at the same time (in the full version it is limited to the size of memory available on the device).
Only second-generation iPod Touches with a headset microphone are compatible for dictation with JMDictate.
For the e @ mail function you will need an SMTP account to be able to send your e @ mails.
JMDictate can be downloaded from the AppStore:
The paid version at a price of 7,99 €.
Comment: the application is easy to use and it really records well. But because of the difference between the two versions, from my point of view and from my use with the Free version it is enough.
