From time to time Cupertino launch the odd device that is out of the ordinary. This device in most occasions it is intended to raise money for an association or for a special event. On most occasions, at least in recent years, Jony Ive has always had a lot to do with designs.
Jony Ive, together with his team, has designed a 12,9-inch iPad Pro with an aluminum body adonized with a yellow color. Along with this iPad we find a French leather Smart Cover in blue. The Apple Pencil that is part of this set is made of yellow gold and will have a red Italian calf body cover.
This yellow iPad Pro will be one of a kind, engraved with the legend Edition 1 of 1. The relationship between Ive and the museum goes back many years. In 1990 it showed a mobile phone prototype and two years later the company signed Ive for its ranks. In 2003, the Ive won the price by Designer of the Year Award from the London Design Museum, where he acquired some of the knowledge that he is currently applying in the designs of the Cupertino-based company.
The proceeds from this auction will go to the London Design Museum, with whom Jony Ive has an excellent relationship as he worked there for several years. It is expected that this exclusive iPad Pro together with its accessories can reach a figure between 10.000 and 15.000 pounds. If you have a little left over and want to get an exclusive iPad Pro around the world, you should know that the museum will start the auction as of April 28.
