It is clear that the most important cycling race in the world is the Tour de France, but probably the hardest and the most beautiful for those of us who are cycling fans is the Giro of Italia, which this year has started in the Netherlands but of course will delight us mostly for the country of the boot.

The application is essential if you plan to continue the race, since it gives us almost all the information we need about it. At the beginning, it focuses entirely on the stage that is taking place during the same day, being able to observe its profile, watch a video, read a detailed summary and even follow the classification in real time with the possible distances between the squad and the escapees. In addition, it offers us the possibility of moving through the different jerseys to see how they would look after finishing the stage at the time of consultation.
Once the stage is over, we can choose enjoy the app in the rest of the areas that he presents to us, which are equally interesting. We can follow the route to see what is coming up, observe multimedia content (photos and videos), make purchases in the official store or even see the photographs that fans take and share in the "Faces of the Giro" section.
Improvable
At the design level, the application complies with clear sections that allow up to one person to with little experience in technology be able to use it without problems. Perhaps you can put the but in the font size of some texts, which is too small, but as a general rule it more than fulfills the task. On the other hand, obviously the predominant color of the application is pink, something predictable in the case of the Italian race.
Where you can put some but more to the application is in the performance. Although it moves smoothly, sometimes going through the different sections of the application produces an unpleasant visual effect that should be corrected in future updates. It is not an app with great graphic content or advanced processing, so there should be no major problem solving a problem like this.
Of course the application is free and lacks advertising, one more reason to make it essential on our iPhone while the Italian round is in progress.
